Disepanjang film, darah dan pembunuhan sadis ditebar dengan mengerikan oleh Ginanti Rona, ditambah Acha Septriasa bermain difilm ini. Gue seneng banget akhirnya bisa ngeliat salah satu aktris terbaik dan terfavorit Indonesia gue maen film horror-thriller. [8/10Bintang]


2. SURAT DARI PRAHA (28 Januari 2016)

Angga Dwimas Sasongko kembali merilis sebuah film drama setelah sebelumnya sukses lewat CAHAYA DARI TIMUR (2014) dan FILOSOFI KOPI (2015). Film yang dibintangi oleh Tio Pakusadewo dan Julie Estelle ini sukses menghadirkan konflik yang briliant dan plot cerita yang kuat. Hanung Bramantyo dan Ismail Basbeth berkolaborasi menghadirkan sebuah drama komedi yang cukup menyita perhatian yang berjudul TALAK 3 (2016). Dibintangi oleh Laudya Cynthia Bella, Vino G. Drama tentang sepasang kekasih yang dipertemukan lewat kepingan DVD Bajakan ini mempunyai kekuatan cerita yang related dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun menurut gue subplot tentang politik diending film terkesan "maksa" tapi untungnya intimnya Chicco dan Basro disini cukup hot dan memukau. [9/10Bintang]

6. PESANTREN IMPIAN (3 Maret 2016)

Meskipun banyak yang bilang bahwa film ini adalah film adaptasi Asma Nadia yang paling mengecewakan, tapi bagi gue film ini sukses menjadi angin segar di industri film indonesia yang mengambil tema thriller-religi. Andai saja Ifa Isfansyah menggarapnya lebih "garang" dan tidak bermain aman pasti PESANTREN IMPIAN ini sukses menjadi thriller-religi yang memukau. Baru pertama kali juga gue ngeliat Prisia Nasution bermain dalam sebuah film thriller. [7/10Bintang]

7. WA'ALAIKUMSALAM PARIS (17 Maret 2016)

Dikira sekuel dari ASSALAMUALAIKUM BEIJING (2014), ternyata film yang disutradarai Benni Setiawan ini merupakan cerita yang tidak berkaitan dengan film yang dibintangi Revalina S. Temat dan Morgan itu. Film drama-religi-komedi ini sukses mengeksplor kemampuan Nino Fernandez yang kali ini Nino mendapat jatah pemeran utama. Pesan religi yang disampaikan dengan suasana komedi cukup berhasil bikin tersenyum dan tidak menggurui. BCL, Tara Basro dan Chelsea Islan tampil memikat disini. Special untuk Chelsea Islan dan Reza Rahadian, keduanya mempunyai poin terkuat difilm arahan Imam Brotoseno ini. Sebuah film komedi yang dibintangi oleh aktris-aktris terbaik Indonesia ini berhasil bikin gue jatuh hati. Humor yang ditampilkan oleh Monty Tiwa sangat fresh dan tidak mengikuti komedi stand-up yang kekinian itu. Seluruh pemain diberi porsi komedi yang efektif. Acha Septriasa pun diluar dugaan memberikan penampilan komedi yang paling mencuri perhatian disini. 16. HANGOUT (22 Desember 2016)

Mengambil genre thriller-comedy adalah sebuah terobosan yang baru dari seorang Raditya Dika. Kemampuan beliau dalam mengolah cerita thriller difilm ini patut diapresiasi. Unsur komedi nya pun tak usah diragukan lagi kemampuan dari sosok Raditya Dika. Gue jadi berharap, suatu hari nanti baik Raditya Dika ataupun Ernest Prakasa membuat sebuah film yang "serius" tanpa ada unsur komedi, karena keduanya mempunyai kekuatan dalam menulis skrip yang amat baik dalam genre diluar komedi.
