2016 has been quite the successful year for actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui with all three of his releases, Raman Raghav 2.0, Te3n and Freaky Ali fetching him endless praise for his portrayal of the respective characters. His next film will be opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia's Raees and then in the highly anticipated and tragically delayed Haraamkhor - the trailer for which is finally out for us to see what the fuss is about!
Haraamkhor is a film based on an unwanted relationship between a teacher and his beautiful student and is helmed by Shlok Sharma. The film had been accused of propagating unethical romantic liaisons and showing the Indian educational system in poor light and therefore was rejected a pass by the CBFC owing to the sensitive subject. However, the film was finally approved recently and made massively positive waves at the festival circuit, even fetching Nawaz a best actor award! And now it will finally release on the big-screen, on January 13, 2017, alongside Shaad Ali's OK Jaanu starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
Having finally had a glimpse of what the controversy is all about, we are actually quite pumped for the release of this film!
